The double room had central heating, a work desk, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels, and the location was great with London Heathrow airport only 1 km away. Rewritten: Our double room was furnished with central heating, a work desk, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels, plus it was conveniently located just 1 km from London Heathrow airport.

The quadruple room was perfect for us. It had central heating to keep us warm, a work desk for any tasks we needed to handle, and cable TV for some entertainment in the evenings. 📺.

The breakfast was decent and the location was ideal for exploring the charming village. The spacious room was a plus, although the temperature was too hot for my liking. Despite this, the cold breeze from the balcony was appreciated.
There were a lot of stairs leading up to the top floor and some doorways were too low. This made it challenging for me to move around as I am quite tall. Additionally, the building is very old with lots of cobblestone areas outside, making it difficult to navigate with mobility difficulties. It definitely did not feel very Christmassy, as I was hoping for a more festive atmosphere and decorations.

The hotel was located in a charming village full of historic properties, which gave it a unique and authentic feel. The building itself had a lot of character and was beautifully designed with lots of interesting features. the breakfast was absolutely delicious with plenty of options to choose from, including local specialties.
While the hotel's character and location were big pluses, it may not be the best choice for everyone. There were a lot of stairs and steps throughout the building and surrounding areas, which could be difficult for people with mobility issues.

Nestled in a beautiful village, this centuries-old historic property has a lot of character. the sheltered courtyard area is perfect for dining or enjoying drinks with family. the hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. the breakfast is delicious and substantial. the rooms are spacious and comfortable, some with balconies and a great view. the facilities are impressive with plenty of parking for visitors and a terrace for outdoor dining.
The hotel might pose difficulty for people with mobility issues as stairs and steps are almost everywhere in and around the building, as well as cobbled and flagstone areas outside.
